Provem starts operations

1999

Start of Laminated Cardboard Corner Board production

2002

10 years of operations and commercialization

2003

Provem opens its second production plant in the state of Querétaro

2006

In the presence of the former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, and the then Governor of the State of Querétaro, Francisco Garrido, new company facilities are inaugurated, placing Provem in first place in terms of installed capacity for the production of Laminated Cardboard Corner Board in Mexico and Latin America.

2007

The new facilities of the Naucalpan plant in the State of Mexico are inaugurated, due to a new production line for Laminated Cardboard Corner Board that increased the installed capacity by 150%.

2009

Provem celebrates its 10th anniversary as a producer of Laminated Cardboard Corner Boards and opens a new production plant in Hermosillo, Sonora.

2010

Provem achieves ISO 9001-2008 certification and continues to improve the quality of its products.

2012

20 years offering the best protection solutions to the most stringent packaging, display, storage, and transportation needs in the market. A CEDIS (Distribution Center in Mexicali) is created.

2014

Inauguration of a new production plant in Querétaro, where we start manufacturing a new project “HONEYCOMB“. Opening of a business unit in the company “PRODISPLAY“, whose designs always consider our materials in their structure, to guarantee the quality and resistance of the products we offer.

2016

Opening of a new production plant in Tijuana, Baja California.

2017

25 years offering the best packaging and display solutions.

2018

Due to the growth of the Prodisplay division operation, Provem expands the production area in Naucalpan and relocates the administrative offices of the plant.

2019

Provem’s logo evolves.

2019

New Honeycomb production plant opens in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora.

2019

New Honeycomb production plant opens in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

2020

COVID 19: Thanks to the health and financial stability of the Group, we were able to maintain all our sources of employment. We achieved continuity in our productive activity as a supplier to essential sectors: food and beverages, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, laboratories, hygiene and personal care, among others.
